Parallel or Synchronised Generators

Description

RANGE from 10kVA to 3750kVA

Ability Power Limited supply parallel or synchronized generators. Paralleling is the synchronous operation of two or more generator sets connected together on a common bus in order to provide power to common loads

Systems Available for;

Features

Advantages of Parallel operation

· Supply and Maintenance – Easier to Maintain when smaller individual Generators are used, because scheduling of each generator can made without affecting the continuity of power generation.

· Efficiency – Large Generators less economical whilst running on small loads, with smaller parallel connected generators, generators can be switched OFF when loads decrease.

· Expansion – Smaller generators can be added as the load is increased.

· Reliability – If one generator fails the other generators continue to supply the load.

· Spread the cost – the system can be added too at a later date therefore spreading the cost of purchase over time.
